Christmas memories: week 4

I’ve been keeping a record of Family EC’s Christmas activities each week – and judging by how shattered I am as I write this, fingers slowly reaching for the keypad as though they may drop off at any minute, we’ve been fairly packing it in.

So, to recap: in week 1 we wrote our letter to Father Christmas, decorated our tree and visited a grotto. In week 2, we shouted “he’s behind you!” at a pantomime, skated at Selfridges Ice Rink and visited a Christmas fair.

Last week, week 3, we met Professor Brick at Legoland, went to a Christmas party, and Mummy got drunk on Prosecco. Hurrah!

Here’s what we’ve been up to this past week:

Visited Chill Factore for a trip to Father Christmas’ grotto in Lapland and a play in his snow play area…

…played at Christmas tea parties in our pyjamas…

…visited friends for present exchanges (together with a bit of dressing up as princesses)…

…ate lots of party food at another Christmas party…

…and finally, Mummy had a delicious Black Forest Martini at Albert’s in Didsbury.

Merry Christmas everyone!
